Don't go draking my heart

Another decent sleep last night must mean my cold is on its way out.  It's on its way, anyway.  Quite a productive day at the coalface and a lovely warm lunchtime sitting in my garden and reading my book.

But I was ready to finish, so after logging out and making a plan or two for tomorrow's day off I was straight out of the door on Mirabel to get milk.  Almost.  I was dead tired actually and spent a good half an hour sitting on the edge of my bed, decompressing.  Then I got changed and went out, taking a very random, semi-offroady ride during which I took several interesting photos.  After filling my panniers with bargains for future lunchtimes, it was back to the big pond to sit in peace and quiet for a bit.  The swans are definitely laying again and one has built a new nest in a completely different part of the shoreline.  I think the best photo of the day was this triumvirate of mallards in tight formation.

Then it was time for a lazy ride home again for an equally lazy evening of videos about maths and Classique Praha.
