The Spring Chicken

In 2020 and 2021, the scariest covid years, there was a neighbourhood fashion for decorating a spring window, along the lines of the advent windows in December. It was very cheery and uplifting to see them when we were locked down and not able to see people. 

Not so many people do the spring window thing now but I'm a sucker for such whimsical decorations and yesterday I assembled my 2025 effort. I will probably blip the whole window sometime but meanwhile here's an ancient wooden chicken which is adorning the window sill. 

My grandson stayed last night and had a very peaceful sleep. He's currently playing with some Lego. We're going out soon - hope this will be the last time we have to use the wheelchair. 

Before bed last night we watched Vengeance Most Fowl (again). Here's our own Feathers McGraw.
