A remembrance

I was in Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Dunoon last night for the  collation of a new Rector for the linked charge of Dunoon & Rothesay.   

I found myself sitting beneath a double stained glass window of St Andrew and St Margaret, and this dedication panel presumably illustrates both the dead sister and the living brother, who was the donor. 

The sister, Martha, is buried in Holy Trinity graveyard, just outside the church and the artist who made the window was Gordon Webster , details of whom can be found here.  

It is an effective and touching tribute.
