Deja vu

Last day of drumming today for the term.  We all went to breakfast followed by the class.  Back home briefly and then Maggy to the vets.  This time last year she was recovering from her meningitis.   My vet today told me she was lucky to be alive.  I knew she was very ill but I didn't realise it could have been fatal.   Something to be very grateful for today on reflection that  I am blessed to still have her.   I have just received an email to say that her bloods are all good.  She will remain on immune suppressants for the rest of her life now which is fine as she doesn't have side effects with them and is pretty well otherwise.  No vaccinations for her though as we think that the kennel cough she had last year was probably the trigger for her remission although we are looking into whether she can have lepto which is a killed virus.  She had titres for everything else last year but apparently they don't do one for kennel cough here which was why she had it.
