Didn’t make it

I found this little half finished nest on the old garden wall.  I hope whoever’s it was got a second chance at building one. Another lovely day although the morning’s are chilly.  

I had a call with our BBC commissioner at 8am put in late last night.  She’s so busy and now has been called up for jury service - thoroughly inconveniencing everyone else.  We went through the ‘its’ our duty  etc’ but grumbled too. I definitely prefer the kind of jury I had to go on.  

NR came to weed the path as it has got so incredibly tatty.  Then a later meeting before racing over to Tangere for a medical so I can get some life insurance now I no longer get the death in service benefits that working for a big corporation gets you.  
Back to the barn office and another long call. 
In the early evening I went over to join a Pilates class in East Meon, led by my usual teacher and an option as she’s away this weekend.  Mat Pilates is harder than Reformer but was less difficult than I found it last time so that’s encouraging.   Nice to see some East Meon faces there. 

Finally watched the last episode of White Lotus - disappointing although some nice callbacks to earlier series.
