Book Club..

This time the book was By Any Other Name by Jodi Picoult. I enjoyed it a lot, but one person who really isn't a Shakespeare fan, was not impressed. Actually I figure that it is usually better if there is some disagreement in the group; it makes for a much more interesting discussion! 

We met at Sandy's house and her local library is the one that every other month offers Tea and Books, an afternoon session where the librarian picks 5 or 6 books to promote. Well, as luck would have it, it coincided with our book club day. So it was a day of books and more books! 

Next door to the Tea and Books presentation room is a little gallery room that always has something of interest on display. This time it was an exhibit by a local collective of women artists called IRIS and there were some VERY interesting items eg: the accordion of little paintings (main) and the driftwood sculpture in the extra. Items like that always appeal to me..something different...

So, it was a full day with lots of inspiration.
