I never knew

That pitcher plants made flowers! But here they are. The flower blooms before the thing that looks like jack in the pulpit but is carnivorous! If you look close you can see them starting to form. They come in different colors but these are S Flava in yellow. A learning experience.

My monthly high school friends lunch was today and we went to the state farmers market where they were having the spring plant and garden show. We ate lunch at the Market Cafe.

We then walked around the plants displayed. I was really good and did not buy anything since I bought plants two weeks ago. I did talk to a vendor that had witch hazel plants but not at this show. Maybe I will get one!
