On The Water

Everyone is taking to the water for Calves week, Joff and Nick taking the kids out kayaking, a regular sight at this time of year and the distant colourful sails of the racing sailing boats. Ribs, yachts and working fishing boats mingle in the harbour and children jump off the pier. Herons fly overhead and George the seal is undeterred by the crowds and bimbles around delighting everyone. A very entertaining lunch for freespiral and I while we picnicked on the beach.
