The Distant Wither Hills…..

Looking towards the drought-affected hills from the old Pony Club grounds early this morning. It is a very pleasant walk…… heading upstream to the Burleigh Bridge……crossing via the dry river bed and then returning along the true left bank.
A cloudless sky all day after a chilly start.
I was busy most of the day. I visited a friend who has had a knee replacement in Churchill Hospital. Today’s technology in joint replacements is amazing. Hannah’s and Alex’s cat, Kevin is fairly settled during his Stu here. I had a short nap on the bed he is dozing on. He was very happy to have the company.
