Oriental Lily - Stargazer

Another close call today. Not tuned in to coming across a meaningful blip in the last few days, but this flower provided a last minute opportunity. This lovely lily was in Susan's wedding bouquet, which is why we have it in our garden.

Our Scottish contingent went home today, so we had time pretty much to ourselves, which was nice after the packed programme of the past few days. Did not very much in the morning, except a bit more railway revision then went to the gym in the afternoon to work off the excesses of the past week. Returned via a cup of tea at Doreen's for our Saturday evening date.

Tonight we had a lamb tagine with cous-cous with dwarf and runner beans from the allotment followed by icecream with raspberries from the canes in our garden.
