Visit to Carlisle

Brother J was going to Carlisle to get a new windscreen for his car and invited me to join him for lunch. I invited friend J to join me as it’s her birthday this month . So we got the train north. Unsuccessful on many fronts, the centre of Carlisle was being repaved so it was not easy to get around. The repair to the windscreen couldn’t be done as the computer wasn’t working (and I have no idea what that means, other than J hasn’t got a new windscreen) and my main course was dry, but the desert was good, . We still had a nice day, and it was nice to see my brother even though he rushed back home to see if he could sort out the problem with his car’s computer.
My main blip is of Carlisle Cathedral.
