Play day

Spent the day with my old embroidery group, having a play with paper and paints. Always good to catch up with them but I was t looking forward to the playing part - it just feels too long since I did any playing with paint and that part of my brain feels very rusty. But I got going and actually pushed through to get a little concertina book made and some small samples of what I’d been doing added. Satisfying to have finished it at least.

Home again for dinner. A teapot handle is included in the photo as the teapot I kept my teabags in had a fatal accident today and was consigned to the bin, but I thought I’d keep the handle in case I ever make a teapot myself.
