Beezle Yoghurt
A shining new branch of Sainsbury's has recently opened in Bicester, a nice small historic market town a few miles north of us. A frequent bus service runs from almost outside our front door to just outside the entrance to the new supermarket.
The large floor area of the store allows for interesting additions to the normal range of items stocked. Amongst them, we found this "Beezle (aka sheep) Yoghurt". Personally, I don't like yoghurt, even if it has been made from beezle milk. But mt spouse loves the stuff, and pronounced this sheepish incarnation to be excellent and tasty. Usually, I find most things associated with beezles to be highly attractive.
Several of my Blipfoto entries refer to BEEZLES, as running a search ("beezles by scharwenka") will demonstrate. In the present context, my submission for 30 June 2012 is relevant, since it shows a group of beezles carved out of stone to make a public seat at the entrance to Sheep Street, in Bicester. Bicester has, in fact, long had an association with beesle farming and the wool trade.
