There's a chill in the
air but the sunshine is just
what is needed now

Just before 8, I headed off to Shuswap Road along the South Thompson River. I managed to drive with the sun in my face. 

I drove as far as the approach to the Pritchard Bridge, then turned back to the city to have the sun at my back. 

I found an eagle at the usual location. It was sitting patiently minding the river. I got one fuzzy shot before it shook out its feathers, then soared off over the river. 

I got the back view of my mountains, then caught reflections along the river. I stopped to look into the silt bluffs on the north side of the road and to catch the willow erupting in that amazing spring yellow. 

It was a lovely cruise alongside the river in sunshine. A chilly 3 C kept me from venturing very far from my vehicle. 

I'm in for the day and I'm thinking it will be a very lazy one.
