A different shift

A pretty weeping redbud outside the ER entrance, taken Saturday night shortly before midnight. I think it was planted last year. (No, I'm wrong, it was two years ago now or longer.) The darkness in the background is where our helipad is. 

Saturday I worked during the day instead of overnight. What a revelation! The 11am-11:30pm "mid shift" might be ideal for my internal clock. (Starting at 7am for a day shift still sounds scarier to me than a night shift.) In any event, it was a good day. Back home, sitting on my comfy sofa at midnight, I opened my laptop to post a Blip and some energetic observations. Then I opened my eyes and realized I'd fallen asleep. Then my laptop battery died. And I knew it was past time to turn in for the night.

So here is a back blip, posted on a sunny Sunday! Hope it's a good one for you all.
