An Exclusive Evening At The Palace of Versailles

In just over an hour from now, we will be boarding a coach to take us from Rouen to Versailles.  There we will check into a fancy hotel, and start getting all dolled up for what promises to be the evening of a lifetime!

Silversea has arranged for we world cruisers to have a black tie gala dinner at the palace of Versailles in the Galerie des Batailles.  Just 165 of us will have access to the palace where on an ordinary day some 15,000 visitors are admitted! 

According to the invitation, "An evening of indulgence awaits as we enjoy the Palace of Versailles all to ourselves, gathering in the Galerie des Batailles for a 'gastronomic fete' presented by Potel et Chabot, caterers to the imperial court since Napleon III in 1856.  As the final strains of chamber music signal the evening's end, return to the Dolce Hotel for a restful night's sleep."
