Rear Window - The Built Environment

When we first moved here in 1997 none of these houses were here. There was just a big pile of topsoil over the other side of our fence.

Over the years we've had a first phase of houses and a community centre added, in the distance centre frame and very handy for camera club#2, Historical Society, Keep Fit etc. Then more recently, over to the left, a second stage of new houses, including a few in the £1m price bracket. To be fair they do have their own private road.

We've added a few of our own new builds too, including the glass veranda and various garden landscape constructions.

It's all progress!

No time to go anywhere today as we have to sort and pack for our trip to Munich tomorrow. I'm not sure how much time I will have for blipping this week as we are meeting daughter#1 and family as well as daughter#2 and SIL#2. A spa day for the ladies is planned, and a trip to the zoo with the boys later in the week.

It's camera club#1 this evening too. The Print Panel Challenge and part one of the annual competition judging.

Emergency Blossom
This is still reappearing each year even though the tree looks to be quite poorly.
And in other news it's seven years since I went on my first blipmeet.
