Carters Corner Farm
What a beautiful day to start this years Open Gardens, I picked Jane up & she decided she would drive if I helped with showing her the way.
I know how to get there as it's almost into Cowbeech & I love to visit that area as it's where my Mum lived as a child.
As we arrived there were cars leaving already, they must've arrived early.
Once Jane parked we walked up to the Tearooms area because Jane needed a Cup of Tea & Cake... not unusual.
I had Tea & a Scone, we sat & watched people coming & going as there's a little stall area selling Crafts & Plants, we looked as we left, I picked up some cards & Jane bought a variety of things.
Went for a walk round the garden & then through the Woodland with lots of Wood Anemone & English Bluebells, so beautiful.
We continued walking around the gardens & bumped into a friend of Jane's with her friends so we stopped for a chat.
Then once again Jane needed a cup of Tea... she told me she was getting a glass of water, well she got both.
We sat a while chatting when some people sat with us & a woman said "I know you, maybe from School!" I said maybe, she told me she used to be a "Harris", I said Jackie? Yes it was Jackie Harris.... funny she recognised me, but she was unsure of my name.
I knew that she was the Auntie to my Niece's Husband... Small World.
We left soon after & ended up at Chilley Farm for a late Lunch. :)
