Raystede
Today I was asked to look after my Grandchildren, so I booked tickets to take them to Raystede; I used to go there as a child & I took my children there, now it's the turn of my Grandchildren; they were so excited.
They followed the map to see where we were going & were happy when we arrived.
Booked in & started the tour finding Tortoises & Terrapins, then we found the play area where they ran & climbed & crawled & jumped until they were hungry, so we had lunch.
My Granddaughter said it was boring we've only seen Tortoises, so explained that we've only just arrived we need to look everywhere to see everything as all we've done is play & eat.
Anyway we packed up our remaining lunch & continued to look around.
I was quite surprised when my Granddaughter asked a lady if she could stroke her Dog, then she stroked a Pony's nose & they both loved it.
My Grandson was eager to find the coloured egg shapes dotted around with Animal's names on, then he wrote them down on a quiz paper given to them as we came in.
Once we looked round we popped into the Shop to buy things they chose for £2.50 each.
Time to go home & see Daddy..... YaY! So excited to see him & tell him all about their day. :)
