Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . . . . to be fickle

Well the promised rain arrived today - and it fairly poured down for most of the day.

I was very happy to see it at first, because I know how dry the soil has become.  I've even resorted to watering pots etc myself with a watering can, in the past few days.  That feeling lasted for all of a couple of hours - before I wanted the sunshine back!

What fickle creatures we are?  But here's a plant that always looks as if the sun is shining on it . . . . . . . .
