Another day in D.C

I fully intended posting everyday whilst here but I have failed epically! 
Today we went back in to the city and walked for miles, along the mall, the Vietnam war memorial ( loved it, was explained by a veteran, very humbling) the Korean, ww1 and ww2, Martin Luther King, African American museum and the American Holocaust Museum. 
So many poignant and meaningful conversations including a Holocause survivor who we chatted to at the museum. 
Wow. 
I thought these tiles painted by local kids were beautiful.
