Lake and geese

I had an evening duty today so I went in late, giving me time to do some Japanese homework before venturing in. The office was a bit empty today, with people off on annual leave before Easter and one off sick. Lunchtime crochet with the group, then an afternoon of mostly meetings. Evening duty was pretty quiet - think I only dealt with one query, but then we had to do the lock up routine as we’re closing at 7 this week instead of our usual 24 hour opening. It always catches students out so we tried to tell everyone as they entered. We got them all out without too much trouble, except for one couple who had gone out earlier to get food but had left all their stuff in the library, and didn’t come back until after we’d shut. Luckily, we were still in there so could let them in to go and grab their stuff, but if they’d been a few minutes later, they’d have been out of luck.
