Tuesday: Treborth Botanic Gardens

Woke up to a fine morning and I decided that a trip to Treborth would be fun - I needed to deliver some plants for their plant sale too, seedlings of Babbington leeks, Jersey Walking Stick Kale and Wild Sea cabbage.

We thought a walk would be nice and ended up going all the way from the greenhouses, then down the path to the Strait then along that path to bring us back to our starting point.

I was very taken with the holly growing on and through the rock in today’s Blip, to begin with MrD thought the rock was a man made wall, I thought it looked like rock with lots of regular fractures … can anyone offer an expert opinion?

We stopped in Waitrose for some shopping and I was so pleased to see “my new cousin” I haven’t seen her in such a long time, we had a quick chat and I’ll have to make time to visit her :-)

After lunch MrD went for a walk I pottered in the garden. Removed all the saucers and trays from under plant pots. Started off some Broad Beans with Red Flowers - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3139336 - for cooking and for the bees :-)
