Wednesday: Mahonia Berries and Pieris

Had a very slow start this morning after yesterday’s action packed day!

I planted some Runner Beans and some peas in pots in the greenhouse, everything feels very slow but the weather is cold. I was very pleased to see bunches of berries on the Mahonia, they will be ripening next month in time for the Blackbirds to feed their chicks.

MrD went to Llangefni to have his watch repaired, then he had a lazy day.

We had many showers of rain during the day and it’s raining this evening as I type this!

We’d bought a smaller cauliflower yesterday which I used to make cauliflower cheese in the Actifry this afternoon, made a big pan of mashed potato too - which will be frozen in portions and be handy for “instant meals” :-))

Watched “Life or something Like it” starring Angelina Jolie - a very surprising film and one which we both enjoyed :-))
