Pink blossom

The cherry trees have been coming into bloom over the past few days and it's always a question of blipping them before the blossom starts to fall. This tree is on Canaan Lane opposite the end of my street. 

I blipped it late afternoon after deciding to give up on the delivery I should have had in the morning. It's annoying as I paid a lot extra to have express delivery of a book I wanted to give a friend  tomorrow. Still, I do have something else to give her and the other book shouldn't be long (I hope!). It's no good getting too upset at missed deadlines.
