I managed to get a few shots of non-white butterflies today. Still not as many around as there are white varieties and holding the lens to keep them in frame until they flew was really tiring, as they spent so much time on the buddleia flowers.

My sister arrived on time yesterday and the Sunday roast for eight went very smoothly and was much appreciated by all. There was even one of Mrs Mikey's trifles for afters - normally only seen at Christmas.

Of course, it did meant that the rest of the afternoon (from about half past three, when we finally left the table) was spent slumped in armchairs in front of the athletics; which is a bit of a shame, as it is a beautiful afternoon. Still, we're going out to Lanhydrock for the day tomorrow, so should get some good shots.
