Lanhydrock

This is Lanhydrock House in Cornwall. Well worth a visit. The house is very Victorian in it's character and retains much of the atmosphere of the family and staff who used to live there.

We started with lunch in the restaurant - very tasty - and then went round the house. After that, we went up into the gardens - also worth a visit - and as my son had to be at work for six, left at about three thirty, to make sure we were back in time.

Nice walk by the river in the evening. Not much of a sunset, but still managed to get a few pictures, which I haven't edited yet. The sky cleared nicely and in about half an hour, we're planning to go and sit in the garden and watch for meteors. Hope we're lucky.
