Eight minus one

A few weeks ago at coffee morning I bought two lots of sunflower seeds, planted them and just earlier today potted them on.
Started with 8 seeds, one didn’t germinate so have got seven left - see extra, but I won’t be offended if you don’t :-)
They are running a competition to see who’s grow the best/tallest.
I reckon I’ve got a good start at least.

We had planned on a bit of gardening today but it’s been cold and windy so we’ve faffed about doing other stuff instead. There’s always tomorrow!
