Ending

My flight home was at 17.20 today and I set out to make the most of my last few hours in Gdańsk. 

Highlights included a gentle 5k jog, taking me past (among many other things) the Polish Baltic Philharmonic's centre on Ołowianka. It gets Blipped - or more accurately the billboard outside gets Blipped with the building in the background. 

Another was lunch at Sexy Smash in the Montownia Food Hall (yes, again). My burger (it was wonderful) is my Extra. 

Gdańsk Airport was efficient and pleasant. So was Ryanair (20 minutes early). In fact everything was moving along very nicely until we reached Edinburgh Airport, and then the sh*t hit the fan. 

To add insult to injury, I was sitting outside after lunch just killing time until I had to summon a Bolt to whisk me out to the airport but Edinburgh was very cold and very wet.
