I went to the seaside today!

It was sunny and warm. It felt like summer, not April. I even had my first ice cream of the 2025 season… mind you that was in a shopping mall and not at the beach. All this was courtesy of Ewa and her husband, who ferried me around in their car. 

It was good to get locals’ perspective on things, and indeed on the wider world. In exchange I paid for the ice creams. 

I suppose I should be blasé about seeing the sea… I mean it is there in front of me every day. But that is the North Sea. Occasionally the Atlantic if I go west a little bit. The Baltic is different.
