Thursday, a Day of Sunshine and Showers

I woke up thinking it was the weekend and then spent quite a lot of the day thinking it was Friday- maybe I need help. When I was awake enough to realise it was Thursday, I was off at a sprint to the beach. There were 5 of us in a calm sea. The sun was trying hard to break through the clouds but never quite made it although it looked sunny over on Fife. The beach had a number of very dead ‘sea mice’ washed up at high tide tide. They look quite disgusting and vaguely horrifying.

The rain held off until after I was home, dry and desanded. It was showery rain which allowed me to time my outing to forage for provisions without getting a soaking. A washing was done and a chicken stew was made before I had lunch and started on the papers. There’s a lot to read about in today’s and so at 4pm I’m not yet finished with them but the rain has finished and the sun is out allowing me a vista of sparkling pink cherry blossom across the way. Tomorrow is Friday, Good Friday and I’m off to the Ivy.
