Capital, capital

We always expect the weather to improve as we approach Edinburgh and today this happened! It wasn't much to write home about during the journey, but as we got closer the sky turned blue with amazing cumulus clouds. I would have taken a picture, but I was driving on the M9!

We stopped, as usual, at the David Stirling Memorial near Doune to have a cuppa. I've Blipped DS many times before and took several pictures this time, but just as I was about to put the camera away a crow landed on his head! So it's slightly different from usual!

As we drove down the A71 into town, the sun suddenly lit up Edinburgh Castle, just for a few minutes. Beautiful!
