Marjorie's ramblings

Forget-me-not

This is a very apt flower for today, read on!

It was cold this morning. I went to Margret’s and switched on her central heating. Friends were bringing her to the bungalow this afternoon to go through her Art books. She wants to give them to members of her Art Appreciation Group in the U3A.

I went for a quick walk to Barrasford Woods to see if the early purple orchids are flowering, but I was too early. Garlic mustard and forget me nots were peeping through and there were beautiful primroses in full flower.

I was back in time to see Margret and her friends before they went back to Corbridge. It had been an emotional visit as you might expect. The bungalow will have to be sold at some point.

I bought myself a MacBook recently but I’ve been so busy that I have never sat down to fully set it up. (I need to learn how to use it too!)

To my horror, I used the incorrect login and was locked out of the machine. That was after a long hunt for the power cable. It’s different from any other one I use.

(I am imagining hazelh throwing up her hands in despair at my chaos!!)

All is well. I had to find out how to reset the password. Now I need to synch my devices and find out how to use the new machine.

PS there was a photobomber again today. Notice the detail in the hairs on the leaves. The phone continues to do well.

PPS another name for forget-me-nots is scorpion grass. Who knew?!
