After the Rain….

……. clouds shroud the distant hilltops early this morning. The stopbank marks the boundary of the old Pony Club grounds which have been part of the Taylor River Reserve for many years now.
There was 7mm of rain in my rain gauge overnight…. Recorded at 9.am this morning. The weather forecast was for heavy rain which didn’t materialize. And yet there is very stormy weather in parts of the North Island with flooding and power outages. All happening over Easter and during the school holidays.
Andrew, my nephew visited this afternoon before returning to Nelson. It was great to catch up
