Exquisite Day

The weather simply couldn’t be any more beautiful! Mid-70’s F/21C, clear blue skies and very still. Dick and I played nine holes this morning at Meriwether Golf Course in Hillsboro - about 25 minutes from my house. We got paired with a couple of younger guys - both excellent golfers with great senses of humor. Very fun morning and I played darned well!

We were sitting on my deck eating lunch afterwards and Dick asked what I was going to do with the empty half of my deck. I explained that I had furniture but really wanted an outdoor dining table but didn’t want to pay a small fortune for one. I decided to check Facebook Marketplace and lo and behold a cast aluminum outdoor table and six chairs had been listed for sale 8 minutes prior! I texted the woman and I was the first one to ask. So I rounded up my friend who had a truck and we went over and picked it up…only $250! I’m thrilled :-) See extra.

Meanwhile, the hellebore leaves in my breezeway garden are looking pretty gorgeous!
