Roasted vegetable soup

There were no butternut squashes on the market so I bought a ton of vegetables to make a spicy vegetable soup, sweet potato, cauliflower, broccoli, There were no butternut squashes on the market so I bought a lot of vegetables to make a roasted spicy vegetable soup, sweet potato, cauliflower, broccoli, and leeks and carrots. It ended up a little bland so I added more spice at the end. I slept badly waking up worrying about our UK house. I spent a lot of money getting the house and garden back in to shape after the latter had become a wilderness when the previous tenants were there. The house has been empty for over three months and I received a photo from our son. showing that the grass is nine inches tall and the garden is looking very untidy. The letting agents do not seem to be doing their job. I will have to find a solution which is difficult at a distance. We may decide to sell the house but no one is likely to buy it unless it looks smart. I will try to find a regular gardener after the Easter break.
