It's not so deep, I'm not so slow

Had to use Boy's photo today.

He's golfing.  

He never knew his grandad but he was a golfer, proud owner of a Sunday Post Hole in One Putter. 

7 handicap and played religiously every week sometimes three or four times.  Practised his putting and drives. 

I used to walk round the golf course with him - he'd tell me that was my treat ha ha.  Let me experience his great golf prowess -  I just loved spending time with him 

Never took up golf despite living with that and living within walking distance of five golf courses.

It was a surprise for me to hear Boy say that today he was playing golf .. it sounded so weird and grown up   my dad would have loved to have played golf with his grandson

Look at the lovely course they are on . Under the Craggs in Edinburgh and getting hungry for a dinner at Heron.  

Of that I am so envious 

I've had a lovely day with Si, we've visited a garden centre done some shopping and generally just had a lovely day, together
