(Go west) where the skies are blue

Meet Audrey.

I had this vision last year, of a corner filled with Aliums, through which the morning sun would awaken, shine and silhoutte the gorgeous round shapes and give me a perfect blip.

Audrey is approximately 3 foot, the rest of my collection vary from 5 inches to 8 inches.   Quite what has happened here is beyond me.

Audrey is causing us quite a lot of consternation.

There is a child, living nearby, who is, shall we say, a little wild?

Boy and his Dad nearly had to make an emergency charge the other day.  The child had left the house.  Audrey, clearly caught his eye and he made a bee-line for her, arms outsretched, fingers pinching.

Luckily for us, his mother also seen what he was making a charge for, and seen him off with a side angled rugby tackle.

We all gaze now- fearfully, every time the door opens, awaiting the wild child attack, where we will lose Audrey, before she has even managed to bloom and let us see her in all her glory.

I hope her sisters buck up a bit, and get  bit of height too, or my planned Chelsea worthy display is going to be a bit shit.

Edit:  added an extra with Audrey in full view
