War of the tulips?

With our more frequent visits to Lancaster we are increasingly familiar with the rivalry with neighbouring Yorkshire.

As far as I am aware we don’t have any floral conflicts in Scotland, say between Glasgow and Edinburgh. War of the thistles might be more appropriate than tulips.
