A Smashing Evening!

A quick trip down to Englandshire, Manchester to be precise, and after checking into the hotel met Sara, and we had a nice wander round the garden festival in the city centre - stopped for a refreshing Pimms, lovely in the sunshine but the busker next to us started to wail, so we moved on to a quieter spot! We nipped into to Harvey Niks just to browse and to use the futuristic loos (walls like the outer bit of the daleks to be precise ) . Couldn't resist the burger stall - we did resist the one selling a choice of zebra, elk, buffalo etc - so did others - it was empty .....

We had a meal booked at the Greek Taverna called Rozafa, and the food was amazing:). Also, the atmosphere was fantastic as there was a Greek twosome playing and from 8.30 onwards the dancing started - there was one diner, a slim older woman who got picked up by one of the waiters and flung in the air, as she was in the air she was waving a napkin and screaming in delight!! When she got placed on the ground a waiter handed her a couple of plates and she smashed them on the floor!!
