Gold on Gold: Goldfinch on Forsythia

There's a goldfinch (Spinus tristis) I've been seeing around the bird feeding and watering station in the front yard. He likes to hang out in the forsythia bush that's right there, as it gives him lots of nice camouflage. Sometimes the only way you spot him is if he's bouncing up and down on a branch. Otherwise, he's nearly invisible. Most males wear a black cap; this one has bits of white, which means he hasn't quite finished his spring molt yet. I think we'll name him Pepe.
