White Rabbit

Spotted just round the corner from our house as we set off for a walk this morning. We returned three hours later having covered almost five miles, albeit at a very leisurely pace. Managed to fit in a coffee and a cake as well towards the end.
A combination of no shops being open and the fine weather drawing the tourists to the fleshpots of Bowness and Ambleside, meant that we were able to enjoy the glorious sunshine in peace, tranquility and (almost) isolation.
The rest of the day has been spent in a much more relaxed fashion and may - or may not - have involved the consumption of large quantities of chocolate…
