Arizona Dreamin’

Day 5

back blip #1

This pretty tiny bird is called a Painted Redstart. It flew right up to me on the balcony of the lodge.  These birds are native to Central America and Mexico.  Their range squeaks into southeastern Arizona and western New Mexico during spring and summer. The extras include a hovering Mexican Jay and a Rivoli's hummingbird.
