Tiger Lily

A few years back I was given a few bulbils from a giant lily growing in a garden I was visiting. It was a remarkable garden, running to several acres, lovingly built up by it's owners. Sadly the banking crisis and subsequent stock market crash had cost them very dear and they were in the process of selling up :-(

This plant is about 4 feet tall but each year it gains a foot or so. It's parent towered over my six feet. I'll keep you posted!
