Gawthorpe Hall

The weather today has been awful so we did indoor pursuits. Visited Gawthorpe Hall where they have a display of textiles collected by Rachel Kay-Shuttleworth. She was a really interesting lady. After her death the hall was given to NT and Lancashire County council to manage jointly. The quilt in the blip is a modern one but I loved the way it looked.
Works have been lovely to visit the gardens but too cold and wet.
