Iridescent Cloud

After a leisurely breakfast we left . N and I went south to collect Neil and bring him home for Easter. We visited MartinMere on the way. At first we were a bit dismayed by the cost and then commercialism but soon realised that’s just the front area. There are massive red beds round the pools and lakes and masses of birds. Mostly geese and duck but one other staff said they’d heard bittern that morning. Had a lovely walk then collected Neil and drove home. Roadworks meant we had a long drive via diversions but it was ok.
