Happy Easter

Lunch went really well — good food, good company. Auntie Ed enjoyed spending time with two out of our three girls, and she and our son-in-law were chatting too which was nice to see. He's quite shy.
Photo is our dessert — this one’s the vegan version. The ‘extras’ photo is their pudding: Nigella’s chocolate and raspberry pavlova, a proper family favourite.
I very rarely cook anything non-vegan these days — and I never cook meat (daughter number three brought that along already done!) — but every now and then I’ll make the girls one of their childhood favourites.
Even though it’s not how me and their dad eat now, it’s important to me to respect their memories and traditions. They were happy with it! I’ll be taking a slice over to child number 1 tomorrow.
