Tree-Time 2025 part 4

The spring weather is on a break - today's been relentlessly cold and wet. The rain is needed though, I'm sure farmers and gardeners will be glad of it. Brian goes back to work tomorrow though, so we decided that we would go to Hartsholme Park today to get our Blips. We'd then be the right side of town for shopping in Sainsbury's.

Even though it was raining quite heavily whilst we were in the park we still had a good walk round. I took my monthly tree shot and Brian got his river photo. I'm not sure if my tree for the year - an oak - is actually two trees that have fused or one that has two trunks. The diversity of nature is a remarkable and wonderful thing!

Then it was off to Sainsbury's for the shopping. We had a discount voucher and got a full week's shop for just over £40 so not bad! I was glad to get home after. We didn't get in until gone 3 PM and were well ready for our very late lunch by then.

I was late up today though. I'm not sure if it's nightly chamomile tea, the extra exercise or something in all the new meds, but I'm certainly sleeping really well!

We are watching Lincoln City v Bolton Wanderers now - 2-2 at half time thanks to Lincoln chucking away a two goal lead. Hope they do better in the second half!
