City Beach

Easter Monday and it was time to hit the beaches.  We headed down to City Beach to start with and I had to tell James and Mauzee the story of how I nearly met my demise at this very spot when I was only 10 years old.  I got caught in a rip one morning very early when our family had headed down for a pre-breakfast swim during one very VERY hot spell one summer.  Happy to report that I lived to tell the tale after Dad organised a human chain to pull both myself and an adult to safety!!
