On the Wings of a Snow White...Osprey

My most consistent birds of the season have been the osprey couple in "MY" mobile home park. The park itself REALLY took a beating from the double hurricanes, but the osprey pair live in a man-made metal nest, so it survived just fine.

The pair like to eat in 2 different spots, one of 2 telephone poles or a bush/tree on a nearby small island. The island is beyond my focal length, so I'm glad when I see them on the poles.

For the first time ever, the couple were perching on the same pole. That picture is on my Extras page. I was wishing that they would both be munching on the fish, but it was not to be.

I missed the sunrise by about 20 minutes, but still took 800+ pictures. This afternoon we went to see s-i-l Joy again, and we took her and my brother Jim some chicken fingers from PDQ, a restaurant we have discovered.

Also this afternoon, we dropped off 5-6 boxes of pottery that our neighbor had crafted. (Picture and story to follow.) The problem? We missed one box that was hiding in the back seat, so we'll have to return to the art center with that box.
